Wondrous City

  What a wondrous city
  One strong city, so proud, so beautiful.
  Rage toward this fair place changes everything in only a few hours.
  Lashing out at the innocent because they cannot control us, or our freedom
  Devastation lingers as we try to go on with our lives.

  Time will help heal the wounds.
  Random acts of kindness will most certainly make a difference.
  Ask why, question our higher power
  Do not sit back and say, I can do nothing.
  Everyone can contribute something!

  Caring words, a gentle pat on the back, a smile will bring us together again.
  Evil cannot stand against the power of love.
  Never let us forget what it took to bring us together as brothers and sisters.
  Take this experience and go forward toward helping all heal.
  Eventually it will not take tragedy for us to lend our helping hands.
  Rise up, stand tall again --- WONDROUS CITY!!
